This is a rectangular Limoges box painted pink. The picture of a stork with a bundle is painted on the box, as the story of the child birth would have it. There are two inscriptions on the box – one in French and the other in English. Both say ‘It’s a girl’. The box contains a white rectangular plaque with a pink design at one corner. This can be an apt gift for a new mother so that she can keep the umbilical cord of her baby girl in it.
