This is a Limoges box which will be more appreciated for the beautiful still life it depicts. The figures of two frogs, a mamma and her baby, sharing a lotus leaf with a dragon fly, give us the impression of an impending drama. One of the frogs may slap up the dragon fly at any time! The Limoges artists are experts in producing such dramatic scenes.
Perfect and beautiful. Thank you for packing so well.
