This one of those marvelous Limoges boxes which depict nature in all its glory. This Limoges box features the mother monkey descending protectively on her baby. The baby sitting on a tuft of leaves and the mother near it with one hand on a bough and the other stretched towards the baby lovingly is very touching in its dramatic life representation.
