A locust on log Limoges trinket box for the curious naturalist. This hand-painted Rochard porcelain miniature perches a detailed locust on weathered wood, wings and legs rendered in fine brushstrokes on French porcelain. Lift the hinged lid to discover the hidden surprise within. Marked "Peint Main Limoges France" with artist initials, it comes in the signature green-and-gold gift box with certificate of authenticity. An unusual gift for insect collectors and lovers of natural-history porcelain.
