A nutcracker hinged in the middle Limoges box with a clever twist. This hand-painted Rochard porcelain soldier opens at the waist — a rare hinged design — revealing the hidden surprise Rochard collectors prize. Each uniform button and painted epaulet is brushed on by hand in Limoges. Stamped "Peint Main Limoges France" with artist initials, it comes in the classic green-and-gold gift box with certificate of authenticity. A distinctive Christmas gift for nutcracker aficionados and lovers of unusual French porcelain.
